My name is Oz Wilson. I live in Las Vegas, NV, USA. I studied Computer Programming and worked for over 10 years as a Computer Programmer.

I first became interested in gourds after watching a YouTube video about gourd lamps. I was amazed instantly with the art of lights. I thought it would be a great hobby and wanted to give it a try.

The more I learn about this craft, the more I understand how deep gourd art can go, so much involved, so many things to learn and do. Gourds are such a unique, organic material, you always work with something new, each gourd is different, every single time.

I love crafting a work of art from what nature has created. You can do so much with gourds, but I am mostly interested in making lamps.

Recently, I am learning photography, so I can take great pictures to show my work.

I also enjoy travelling and seeing the wonders of the world.
